In the last few years we've become accustomed to have everything delivered to our homes. It's convenient. I ordered some air pods in the morning a few weeks ago and they were delivered within 4 hours! One of the downsides though of all this ordering is what to do with the packaging that it comes in. As card makers we're very resourceful. We find ways to use it.
For your challenge today I want you to break out that excess bubble wrap and use it in the making of your card...think gel plate, using paint or brushos, stencils, stamp with it....oh and just for fun pop a few of those bubbles along the way!
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how: 1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
As always thanks to the team for their great samples!
A fun challenge and a bg technique that I haven't used in AGES. I agree, Polly, lots of things are delivered these days and with it comes a lot of packaging....many are now using those bigger "puff pillows". Thanks for the challenge.
Great challenge, thank you! I had to DIY it with a handful of yarn, plastic wrap, and a rubber band. Used 2 shades of ink for my background and a birds stencil in darker blue. Here's Two birds

Polly this was a great challenge - although I did not have bubble wrap, I used polka dots in my dp.
Lisa thank you for the great inspiration!!

Had fun doing a second card- thought my background was a bit busy so I used to to die cut a rose. Added texture with dry embossed leaves and a dragonfly- we see beautiful ones when we are in Florida!. Here's Rose and Dragonfly-
I couldn't waste my scraps, so I made a card with a paintbrush in water and a "falling leaves" style background- here's Jar of Paintbrushes

Reason: 2 cards need to be together
I was in such a hurry to post my cards during the DTGD challenge that I did not look at other challenges. Now, that I have had time, I decided to add it here. Hope that's still o.k. Thanks for Looking!
