Usually my Thursdays are spent babysitting my granddaughter, but it is still frigid here and that involves a 25 mile drive each way and coming home in the dark. Just didn't want to risk it today (I also fell on the ice earlier and am a bit sore) All that to say, I got to stamp today instead! Succulent Hope
I recently bought a PixScan mat for my Silhouette Cameo. As part of getting it to sync with my phone, I had to print a paper filled with dots. Why waste it? I turned it into circles for a few cards.
I was inspired by this challenge, as well as a lovely card from beesmom (links in the descriptions of my cards, so I'm not taking credit for someone else's card here).
I can't seem to get the edit feature for cards when I am on my tablet (currently my only computer), so: A little disclaimer anout my 'Genious' card with the butterfly. Thanks for all the sweet comments. The butterfly was fussy cut out of the new Botanical Butterfly dp that is can be chosen as a freebee if you order $50 American ($60 canadian) during Salebration which goes until the end of March. Also, the die cut circle was in my trash pile because I stamped a sentiment wrong, and when I turned it over, I got a smudge on it.

I unearthed this wonderful Scripture based stamp and paired it with a small bee image, adding texture with a honeycomb embossed background. As my card needed a bit more pizazz, I added a yellow patterned and black and white dotted set of washi tapes to my card's upper and lower horizontal borders. Here'sPleasant words
