I'm a day late (again), but here is my card. There is a lot of embossing on the panel underneath the faux postage and there is also embossing around the edges of the card.

Faux Flower

This was done for the LSC67 as well as WT64. I stamped tulips in a circle to form a flower and added the ribbon and heated it. The turquoise cs behind the faux flower was made by bubbles on the shiny cs.

Here's another card I did using the heat gun. This is the first time I used my Bamboo II background stamp. I used it on the background and on the black panel that I embossed.

how do you know what the project is that you are suppose to do

bensarmom 06-14-2006 03:08 PM

If you check out the home page on the right hand side part way down, you'll see daily challenges listed. Click on the day it is, (today you'd click on Wed.) then click on the challenge with the highest number. That will be the current challenge for the day. Hope this helps. There is a challenge for each day but Sunday. Sundays we go through the gallery and comment on all the beautiful cards we didn't see during the week.

I combined the use of several different types of gold embossing powder to get the layers of glitz that I wanted. There is something so satisfying and magical about gold embossing powder!

I finally got around to using my heat gun this week. I did the Heated Pearls technique. It took a bit of practice but I have a lot of pieces to work with now. Fishy sparkles a lot more in real life. My scanner could not pick up all the color.
