Sorry the challenge is late ladies! You'd never guess I've been awake since 4! High winds here made me think we were going to be blown away. Unfortunately, it's taken forever to get enough light on this grey day to take a pic! Thanks for your patience!
I hope you'll all have fun with today's challenge! Over the past week I've been having fun with some fabric and thought it would make a great rerun challenge. We haven't done it in a long time. Fabric is something most people don't use on Cards and other projects on a regular basis so pull it out and have some fun. Don't think you have any fabric on hand? Check your rag bag for old shirts, denim, flannel etc. to cut up.
If you're stuck on way to adhere fabric to your design why not try out...
Cool. Working on one like that right now! Great challenge Julia and thank you! We had the wind storms and lost power again yesterday for 6 hours when it had just come back on 3 days ago from 12 days of not having it! I'm hoping to go a full 24 hours today without losing anything, especially my mind.
cool.. i have fabric... I come from a quilting family, so there is always a square of fabric laying around Awesome challenge, Julia!
I am a quilter as well too. I have tons of fabric. I can't wait to play. Thanks for the wonderful challenge Julia.

Lots of fabric here. In fact, the last time I took a photo of some coat lining to make background paper from, I ended up finding enough scraps left from the coat to use the fabric itself. Means moving my bedside locker to get at my scrap drawer, so I'd better get downstairs now and get looking...
Fun, thanks Julia. Sorry your weather is so bad.
what creativity here...I would never think to use fabric on a card...I have been lurking and commenting in the challenge threads, but have not actually done one for quite some time...
Just thought up another idea! Wouldn't that new Claudine Helmuth Sticky Back Canvas be cool for this challenge? Anyone have some?
No, but I did buy some at Michaels a few months ago(on their designer rack thing, can't remember who designed it, sorry. It is solid, so I stamped on it and used it on a couple of layouts.
I just started sewing a couple of weeks ago, so I do have a couple of pieces of frabic also! I'm excited!!
Another great challenge, Julia. Had this fabric a while (pear) but when I took it out, it turned out to be "winter'y". So, I made a holiday card. Not exactly what I had it mind, but it works.

Everytime I see a card with stitching on it, I really want a sewing machine for crafting. This challenge just intensified the feeling. Anyway, here's my card, unfortunately without stitching.
Bad light here too :(, excuse the picture. It's a Material World Out There, Ducky.
Much as I'd have loved to knit some lace or do some embroidery, I am meant to be majorly practicing the piano today, so this was the quick version.
Be back later to look at the gallery.
