Great challenge - I've made a few inchie cards but I'm seeing more and more around - this will be fun! Ellen Hutson sells inchies on at her on line store.... as well as tons of stamps that fit the 1 inch size.
Location: Yup, that's me and WILLIE NELSON!!! (insert heart here!) :)

Here's my card for today's inchies. This was fun and easy....my first challenge in a month .....
I got out my mosaic paper. No cutting or measuring,,,just stamp and peel them off...and put them down.

I love the inches label sheets for a project like this. Just stamp your image and then peel and stick! If you can't find the inch label sheets you could use larger mailing labels then stamp, cut and peel and stick. Too easy!

Where does one get the inchies label sheets? An office supply store? TIA, Mary

If you do a search in the gallery for "Inchie" or "Inchies", you'll find a lot of examples! ;) Generally, you put your Inchie on a sturdy base (chipboard or matboard) since they are collectable pieces of art. That way, they are more durable. Then you can add them to a card, 3D project or scrapbook page.
Since chipboard and matboard are a bit difficult to cut, yes there are a few retailers who sell the 1-inch square boards already cut. Some, you can stamp and color directly on. Here's an example from my gallery:
What fun to do an inchie challenge. I will have to play in a few days.......unless I find time 5 mins. here and 5 mins there :p . Thanks too Lindsey for hosting for Julia. Your friend, Nancy

I love all of the submissions! I made one, but had to use a paper cutter for my squares..do you know anyone else who can't even cut straight with a cutter?
If I'm feeling brave I'll post it later lol
