Great challenge Julia, sorry you had a rough morning, some days are just like that.
I just had to use one of the backgrounds that Conni embossed for me, I wish i had embossed more when you were her Conni, can't wait to get together again. I'll emboss everything in sight. LOL.
Here is my card for today's challenge, I think I will be participating as much as I can. I stay at home and I don't have any children yet so it is probably every stampers dream....I have no excuses to not make anything.

Ok, so I sat here and ate and entire sleeve of Thin Mints Girl Scout Cookies while I browsed what's been done so far and now I have no excuse but to go stamp to burn some calories!!!
It took me longer to figure out how to embellish my card than it did to actually make it. Probably shouldn't have taken the cough med with codeine before I started (I kinda zoned out). LOL Hmm, that might explain the color combo, too.
I don't really know what I am doing but I will give my first challenge a try. I am always so intimidated because there are projects on here that just blow me away everyday, and I feel like I can't contribute anything even close to that. I will try my hardest, I guess I will get an A for effort! Here we go :-D
Everything you upload to this site is an inspiration for others. There is no competition. Each of us have our own strengths and weaknesses. Just do what feels right for you. It's always a learning opportunity to get more creative on this site. You'll do GREAT!!!!
You guys rock today. I wish I could stamp but I'm sicker than heck right now. I have a terrible sinus infection and a serious cold that has put me out of the stamping room for over a week. I will have to live through you guys until I get better. Keep up the good work. Off to sleep off this medication.
Wouldn't you know that my stars are aligned today, or God is singing over me (Zephaniah 3:17) or something wonderful. Chores are done. Schoolwork is almost done. And I sponged the daylights out of this first OSW card I made today. It ended up completely different than I had envisioned for this set, but what the hey...
welll.....I just got home and hope to play tonight....had a busy day and wasn't home when it was posted................I sponge often.......I just need some new sponges......
Here's my card for today's challenge. I was making cards for a swap and decided to combine today's challenge. I like the way it turned out. Thanks for looking!!
thanks Julia for all you do! I've learned a lot from WTC and know I'll continue to as the weeks go by.
sponging has become close to second nature now...love the depth and the way it softens the hard edges of a cut. will try to come up with a new creation to submit. hope to have a chance this evening!

I really like the card sketches challenge, so I thought I would try this one, it was fun too. I am getting addicted to these challenges. Thank you Julia
I just wanted to say how beautiful everyone's cards are this week! I don't think I have time to play today but I hope to get some time this weekend. Keep them great cards coming, I'm loving all this inspiration!
