Title: 30 Days of Winter
Hi painters. Welcome to this weeks watercolor challenge. We have a video by Marena Art. It is only five minutes on painting holiday decorations. I did a sample before giving it to you as a challenge. It was fun and easy. She uses watercolors plus white paint or gouache. For the background color I used a purple and blue with added Jane's gray to both of them. You can do any color you wish. She hand painted the hangers for the bulbs. I used a ruler and micron black pen. When uploading your creation please share anything you learned from the artist. Linda, thank you so much for the fabulous tutorial! I loved painting the ornaments! I found this challenge so enjoyable and plan to paint more ornament cards!
I finally finished mine, and then the sentiment gave my eyes fits as there seems to be too many letters for "Always" to my brain haha. :mrgreen: thanks again Linda, I really enjoyed being kicked out of my comfort zone of colors & shapes to do this one. I finally got to try this challenge - I have wanted to ever since I first saw it posted but always think I need a block of time to watercolor. Thanks, this was fun!
