We're still on Cloud 9 in our VSBN Mini and we've had some GREAT Scrappin' Challenges so far ... but it's LATE here in the Midwest and dawn is coming. It's been a BEAUTIFUL Fall here in OHIO and we've had many days of pretty blue skies and lovely, fluffy white clouds floating by in the sky.
To complete My challenge you're going to have to imagine what it would be like to be floating by in the sky. Take your inspiration from the clouds and create a page with lots of white and a little blue...unless of course you're floating by in a rain cloud (LOL!)
1. To be considered for VSBN Recognition, ALL VSBN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00 PM EST ON SUNDAY, October 31, 2010 for the mini VSBN.
2. You have 3 hours to complete the challenge (each challenge theoretically produces one page per hour). For contest purposes, 1 upload per participant per challenge will be eligible to earn award/recognition. For example: if you complete 3 indivdual pages for this challenge, and upload each of them to the gallery you can only win one award/recognition for only one of your pages; the other two are part of the gallery to share but cannot win any award/recognition. If you upload a double page spread as one upload, it will be considered one upload; please do not upload the pages individually or they will not be considered a double page spread. It is the VSBN Challenge Host's decision to award/recognize pages that best represent her challenge based on the criteria in the challenge. Please be sure to write your description of how you interpreted his/her challenge in your Upload Description.
3. Please remember to put in the correct KEYWORD OCT10VSBNc , when uploading your image; a wrong keyword means your submission may not be seen for consideration. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure you layout is seen by the host and all visitors.

Now come on...white space isn't too bad. I go for that clean look and struggle with finding things to fill it up usually! lol
I can't believe that so far all the challenges have been doable thru digi...just got to figure out what pictures to use for this and the first ones. Guess I didn't need those 80 pictures I just had printed, huh?

well, you're definitely prepared for which ever way you go! That's awesome that you can do all of them in digi since you enjoy that so much! Maybe for the real VSBN you can break out the paper?

My sinuses have been really bothering me from all the high pressure systems we've been having! I had to go and get sinus meds earlier Patti, better to catch it then get a full fledged headache!
Good Night!

Ooooh ouchie ouchie! I get that way whenever the bad weather rolls in, not really sinus problems but definately pressure in my head! It can certainly lay me out quick! I'm having fun browsing through all the galleries, I forgot my camera at a friends house, so I can't upload pics tonight. :( Still, lots of ideas for future pages!! I have an idea list here that's already two pages long!

Another fun challenge! Seems like headaches are popular tonight. I just took some Excedrin. I suffer from migraines pretty bad and whenever I feel one coming on, I jump right on it.

I thought that was what I would do today but since we didn't get home until 9, I'd have to go upstairs and then I'd probably keep DH awake so it's better that I do the scrapping downstairs for now! Maybe I'll try something tomorrow while they go bowling for cub scouts and I have a few hours of alone time!
i am. its only 8:30 in the frozen tundra. i'm going to start this challenge. Maybe tomorrow when i've had coffee instead of Miller Lite i can figure out how to post into the replies. LOL
Thanx for staying up with me

Same here...for years I thought I had allergies. Once the Ins. co. decided to make Claritin a non-prescription drug, I went to an allergist to find out what exactly I was allergic to and find out nothing really! What?!!! I can have a mild reaction to mold spores and dogs but nothing major...so how come I get all stuffed up I ask. Well, when the seasons change, the atmospheric pressures effect the sinuses and that mimics allergy symptoms so all I have to do is take Sudafed until I feel better and the weather either stays hot or cold! Boy, if I could only have all that money back I spent on prescription drugs for over 10 years! This year has not been cooperating very much so far!

That's why I didn't have any wine tonight...it usually puts me to sleep!
I sure hope tomorrow is nice here because we have planned to go to the Apple Orchard, then the pumpkin patch. We're going to carve pumpkins tomorrow afternoon since I'm going to be gone until Thursday ;)

That's strange. I uploaded my layout for the last challenge almost 45 minutes ago and it still hasn't shown up in the gallery. Do they stop approving at midnight? (like Cinderella? )

I sent a PM asking about "instant uploads" but ... I guess they weren't turned on tonight? Sorry!

That's OK. Will we be allowed to upload tomorrow at all if we aren't Fan Club members? I haven't started another page...my fingers are beginning to slow down with finding the correct keys on the keyboard now. I got up at 6 this a.m. since, you know, it's a Saturday so DGS needs to get up earlier than usual to enjoy the weekend! LOL!
Yep! I'm such a digi-girl! I'm trying to get more into Hybrid but I'm waiting for my eCraft to get here. LOL.
Do you print your pages out? I started doing digi scrapping last July and I've not printed any of them out yet..probably got between 150-200 that I could. I'm just really scared to try and download them properly in order to get them printed. I just made a book for my ex-MIL of grandchildren's layouts that was an 8x8 size and it turned out gorgeous. She loved it and now I would love to have pages to look at in real life! But I'm still resisting just cause I'm not sure how to prepare the file off Photoshop.

I'll ask if we can upload tomorrow since the instant wasn't on tonight! My kids never got up that early ... they were always night owls like their Mom and stayed up super late. My nephews do though so I know my sister gets up early on weekends also!
Good Night Terri! Thanks for playing !

Yes I actually just printed off a batch of 5 lo's from Pages to Treasure. I've never printed with them before, but they are waiting for me at my apartment's front office, so I'll let you know tomorrow how they turned out. Do you save your layouts as psd files? If so, just use the setting Save For Web and then keep the settings at 3600 x 3600 pixels and turn it into a jpeg with a setting of high. That should be good enough, hit save. I usually title them with -Print at the end so i can find them easily when I'm uploading them to a print site.
Oh I should mention those instructions are for 12 x 12 inch layouts.
Me Too! I can tell you when a "front" is moving in. I never had that before I moved to Ohio. I just make sure I keep sinus meds EVERYWHERE!
You know, it's weird how the place you live can have such an effect... I lived in the desert for 8 years and had HORRIBLE allergies... but then I moved to Northern MN where things actually grow, and I have NO allergies!
