NOV07VSBNH- Summer Traditions
 
Here is the place to chat...feel free to ask any questions. Now that the weather is cool...I am starting to miss summer. Scrap a page about a tradition you have in the summer. It could be that you eat meals out on your porch or it could be a 4th of July celebration. These are just a couple of ideas...let's see some summer pages! Bonus points if you use glitter.Now go put on your flip-flops and get scrappin'!

Don�t forget to put NOV07VSBNH in the keyword section when you upload your page to the gallery!

Thanks...I have your challenge all ready to go...paper picked out and layout decided on...but didn't want to get too involved and forget about checking the time, so I am going to finsh it after my challenge.

They are still debating whether to actually cut into that treasured 12 x 12 paper or not...cut, not cut...that is the question! (speaking from experience...mind you!)

Can someone explain the bonus points to me? It's always confused me. Does this mean only those pages using glitter will win? Should I bother to play if I don't have it?

You can still win without glitter...but really...you can use anything sparkly on the page...or stickles. I just added it for a bit of fun, no other reason.

Oh, I didn't make it a "requirement" for that very reason...I still want you to participate even if you don't have glitter...does that make sense?

Kinda. I'm glad it's not a requirement though... I skip most of the challenges that require too many things.

That is the exact reason I didn't make it a requirement...but since it is a pretty open-ended challenge, I wanted those that like lots of guidelines happy, too.

Oh, put a dot of stickles to dot an "i" and call it good! :p Seriously, don't over think the glitter part...it really is just for fun if you want to add it...not a requirement, like I said.

Here's my page. I wasn't going to add the glitter, because it wasn't really a glittery page... but I'm glad I did. Thanks for the challenge!

Love your page...your colors are so fun! I can relate to the fun a person can have on a sandbar...we grew up near a river and played on sandbars all summer.

This was fun Erika. I used glitter on my chipboard star button. Thanks to Peggy for getting me to open my chipboard buttons this is the second one that I have used today.

I was having trouble just refreshing this page...so I am guessing that SCS is being a little wonky at the moment.

Ok, well my page is done but without photos. I can't seem to get the LAN internet to work and I can't print from my laptop that I am using now. *sob* It looks like I will have to put this weekend on hold :(

I have to admit I did one layout for 2 challenges. I got to use something I just had to have and incorporated the summer theme into it. I am very happy with it. Thanks for the 2 for 1.

Erika I started a DPS for yours earlier, but the chickens were coming unglued...they are in bed now, but I feel wiped. I'll have to finish it in the morning or after work.
