PERISH THE THOUGHT!!!! lol Nope, there are no "rules" in scrapbooking...however, Lela's rule is "use your stash first" and "save the same amount into savings for next year's scrap budget"...but as for designs....you do what you wanna do, girlie!!! And, WELCOME!!!!!:-D

i started out a scrapper & still do no stamps on some pages & i have many w/ very little stamping

i also started when LSS & larger stores w/ scrap supplies were an hour away, so i had to get creative and get cardstock at office supply stores

it was when every page had to have a mat, few to no embellishments, i was afraid to cut into patterned paper, and i used Fiskars decorative scissors for all my mats

so glad i put those ways behind me

Hubby came home 2 hours after his ETA and my stress from the last two days is about a 29 out of 10.... going to sit and veg with the telly and start ABC-ing tomorrow. Night.

Yippee!! I'm startin' to get into this now! I just did the PQR page. This is me at 7 years old - check out those spaces b/w my teeth!

Brand new papers from K & Company Wild Saffron line. Punched circles for center of flower. Only took about 40 minutes. Striped adhesive ribbon toward left. Whee!! This is kinda fun!

I don't EVER get anything done at a crop. I totally understand. I love the social time but I've learned to quit doing anything but go through scrappin' magazines or sort photos. I just think I like my alone time in my scrap room. Just call me the Scrappin' Hobbit . . .

know what, I NEVER get anything done at crops - even all day ones! I've gone to 2 that I did work at, and I was at a table with some very *ahem* boring people AND went with pre-planned pages/sketches. (actually wore my ipod for awhile... that bad). sigh. YAY for adult company!!!

the woman who does the fresh food boxes in my town invited me to one at her Church. It took me a bit to find it, only to realize that I passed it 4 times before I realized that was a Church.

I got a DPS done for def...gonna try for one more tongiht so I can make my may goal(I know its aftermidnight but I really want to have a month where I make my goal)

I've done a lot from my first upload tonight until this one--it just wasn't all scrapping. Took the girls to DQ for a quick bite then came home and scrapped a little, dh came home after working 12 hours today (over time yay)
then I ran up to the hospital to see my friend Kay for a few minutes. She is out of ICU and in a regular room. Looking well I might add, I guess blood transfusions will perk you up!

So here is my DEF page: I'm not thrilled with the outcome but done is done.

I stamped the corner with my doodle this stamp then put chunky glitter on it. Did you note the DOTS for D?

white eyelets in the letter K

and a flower for my journaling
