On my signature line in my work email, my tag is Imagine the Possibilities and on my classroom wall I have a photo of John Lennon from his memorial in Central Park-I guess you could say that I would really like to see a world in which we not only imagined, all the people living life in peace, but also one in which we could see that dream come true. I think we do this with our scrapbooking; we take the miracles and the goodness of our lives and scrap them so that they become a permanent part of the fabric of our lives.
So the challenge for this time period is really quite simple
*Use the word Imagine and/or some of the lyrics from the song somewhere on your page and scrap a person, place or event that celebrates the goodness of your life and or the goodness of the world around you.
*Bonus points for using the color of peace I saw the color of peace: in the beautiful eyes of Medea, the gorgeous red hair of Jodi, the radiant skin of Alma, the fury and passion of Farah, the joyous smile of Ann Wright, and in the sheer beauty of Nita Evele. I saw peace in the eyes and smiles and laughter and passion and determination and compassion of every single woman (and man and child) that was there I saw peace. I felt peace. It grabbed me.. http://thewip.net/talk/2009/05/what_color_is_peace.html
*And then posting what color peace is for you and why in this thread!
Imagine there's no Heaven Imagine there're no countries
It's easy if you try It isn't hard to do
No hell below us Nothing to kill or die for
Above us only sky And no religion too
Imagine all the people Imagine all the people
Living for today Living life in peace
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

Everyone must be busy finishing up the last challenge!
Sorry I'm late Val! For some reason I had written down this one started at 7? I was cleaning up after dinner & more of the "charity marathon" that was at my house the last 2 days. Teenage boys are messy!
I'm here now and thinking!!

I've used this pict before but since I needed this page for both boys albums, it worked great for this page! Fun Challenge Val! This is New Years Eve and for me the fact that we celebrated safely in our own home was "peaceful"! Gave me lots of time to think about what I was looking forward to in 2010

Woohoo! I finished this one last night, and made it just under the 2 hour mark. I was lucky I had already cut out all the butterflies! I try to punch shapes out of my tiny scraps before tossing anything out.
I had fun with this one. I used White as my color of peace, since there's nothing like looking out at the fresh snowfall and hearing the silence outside. It's one of my favorite things about living in the Northland, and it made for a very peaceful Christmas. Thanks for looking!

My One Little Word for 2019 - Complete
Here's my entry. Wasn't sure how to separate the 2 since this was a 12x24 digi layout but I figured once it was printed, it would be cut down the middle so then they would be further apart.
Just uploaded my Imagine page... this page is about my dd, who brings me all my happiness and peace. My 'peace' color is pink as well... doing a little write up on it on my blog. Hope everyone has a great night - tfl!
