Took 3 guys, 2 snow blowers and a plow to do three drives in about 6 hours.
Then my St. Bernard is about 3' tall standing on all four legs, and the snow was still a foot above her with the drifts caused next to the fence.
Holy cow! That's what we were expecting, but we didn't get much more than a dusting. I was kinda looking forward to the pretty floaty snow, but yesterday we had a lovely layer of ice pellets fall over town. Great excuse to stay inside and scrap! LOL

Wowza!!! We were stationed in Grand Forks, North Dakota and the first year we were there was HORRIBLE (we came from Okinawa, Japan which is a Miami temperate zone) and the snow was at least 8 feet high because the pile was bigger than my husband and he's 6'2! I wish I was more into scrapping then, I may have taken more photos :-) You can't pay me enough to live in that kinda cold climate again! :-)
As far as I'm going to get today, just need to add tie-die stamp when I get home tomorrow. I'm traveling today as I'm going to a baby shower for a friend of mine! I'll be back later this aftn.
Here's my page...so far...

That was here too! We had Ice Tuesday and Wednesday, everybody was "snowed in" while they plowed

I couldnt get the brush to change colors so I found the patterns which had tie dye in them but I couldn't figure out how to make the pattern size larger and I'm pretty sure I did that in PSE7. I've been lost as to where to find things in PSE9...like the layer style settings is no longer on the right side where all the thumbnails show up as you are doing a layout. I have found it but I have to search for it each time I want to add shadows now. It just gets frustrating that I can't do anything speedily anymore

i ended up using the background paper I said I threw out because it made a great mat for the picture, it is a shame you can't see more of it though, it was really pretty, uh I mean, groovy.
You ladies are tie dye machines! Can't wait to see the rest of the pages!

Thanks for trying Michelle. This is how my old PSE7 program allowed me to do drop shadows but with PSE9 I can't find that box on the right hand layers side anymore. I figure it is a setting that might need to be turned on but I've searched through the menus and can't find it. The only way I can do drop shadows is to right click on the element within the page itself and then click on "layer styles". A box shows up then with the shadows, bevel, and 2 other choices..can't remember what since I don't really use them. One of these days I'll find them I'm sure

Terry, go to Windows, and turn on the Effects palette. See attached.

Wow! Gee wilakers! ;) There it IS! Thank you! Hadn't gotten to that menu drop down yet! I thought it just referred to the window (screen) where the layout resided. Cool beans!
There's still LOTS of time to upload your pages... there may be a little somethin' in it for ya... I'm just sayin'...

Here is my submission for Remember the 60s! I sponged my bg to achieve the tie dye look. Here is "our Little Princess".
Thank you for the challenge and for hostessing! I had to find a picture for this challenge. It was in my computer, but not printed out, so I ordered it from Walgreens and picked it up today. I should have ordered in mat finish, because it was difficult to get a photo of the glossy finish!
This was my last challenge! I had gotten a late start and had to come back and get this one!
