Your challenge is to create a scrapbook page about where you live. Now, where you live can include many places--the country you live in, your state, the city or town you live in, your neighborhood, or even your house! It could also be your hometown. You get to decide
Now for the twist (if you should choose to accept it!):
I am a total sketch addict. I don't create a scrapbook page without one. Well, all of the sketch books out there suggest that you take a sketch and flip it or rotate it. I don't know about you, but I've never been brave enough to try it. So, my challenge is for you to find a sketch and flip it or rotate it. If you need help finding a good sketch, here are some wonderful resources:
1. ALL VSBN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00 PM EST ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMEMBER 6TH.
2. You have 2 hours to complete the challenge (unless otherwise stated).
3. Please remember to put in the correct keyword, AUG09VSBNL , when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure you layout is seen.

Great challenge! I was stalking for the next one and I'm so pleased to find it!
I'm afraid I wasn't able to get the pics I wanted for this one yet, so I'm just chatting along tonight but I hope I can get it done this week. Fingers crossed!

I'm right there with you this week. Things just haven't gone the way I planned...new school year...new school...new grade level...lots of stress. My page isn't done yet either. Maybe tonight while I chat or maybe this week.

I say scrap it and journal about how it's not your favorite place and that you miss the coast. My plan is to journal about how we never planned on living here, but here we are and we love it.

That's an interesting question. You could scrap about what you feel is lacking in your current locale - that would be interesting. Or, you could try and find three things you like about your town on a 'what I love about my town' and put the 'what I hate about my town' layout on the other side! cheeky!!

now i'm the one having computer problems...my photo printing software isn't working...not good when you want to do a scrapbook page with pictures :( my wonderful dh is working on it hope to be in business soon!

I'm going to scraplift a sketch I saw and liked and then when I get the picts this week, I'll know what I need. I have some picts, I just need a couple more I think ... but... this is a GREAT page for me to get done since we've only lived here a couple years and I've not scrapped about it! Great idea

April, taking lots of pix of your town does not make you a nerd! It makes you a photographer! I wish I had taken more of my town. I took a few in my neighborhood and on the way back from Kroger's tonight. Maybe, I can dig up some more in my stash of take some of other town related objects I have. This could be another one that takes me forever to get done-But. I love the idea. Off to finally finish Challenge J that I started at 4:30! (had too many problems, delays, etc.)

well, I didn't get out to take picts of my town today, it was really cold and rainy and I preferred to stay home and scrap, LOL! BUT...I did find some picts from the township Memorial Day Parade. For me those were fun to scrap. We moved from the city to this rural area in OH about 3 yrs ago so this small town parade for the holiday was "new" experience for us and we enjoyed it! My DS marched in the band in the parade!
This is a daunting challenge for me - I've moved about 57 times in my 55 years! Some of the moves have been in the same town. I'll always call Calgary my town, though, because I was born and raised there. I'll never forget the first time I left for a few years - when I came back I couldn't believe that different people had moved into MY town - and that it had changed without asking me! LOL!

computer problems are almost as bad as car and a/c problems :(
I think they're worse! I spend more time on my computer than in my car!!! Well, at least they're worse car problems! (Since I live in Arizona, I don't want to jinx our A/C!!)
