My favorite vacation destination is going camping. My favorite camping activity is sitting by the campfire and especially roasting food on the fire. Yum!
My challenge for you is to make a stamped card/project that represents the warmth from a campfire.
You can use an actual image of a fire, use the colors of a fire (orange, yellow, brown), or some other representation of warmth or fire. Please let me know in your comments what you used to represent the warmth of a campfire. I can't wait to see your warm campfire creations.

b) From the Sub-gallery dropdown list, choose Virtual Stamping and Scrapbooking Nights ~ it's the last in the list.
c) From the new sub-gallery dropdown list choose Summer Vacation - it's the very top of the list.
4. Please remember to put in the correct keyword JUN14VSNA when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
5. Please do not combine VSN challenges...but you may combine any other challenges with a VSN challenge!

I really enjoyed this challenge. It used to be one of the things i loved about camping and also in our back woods we would always burn a fire...but...the wood ticks have gotten so bad and the mosquitoes and DH is paranoid about both of those and so, alas, we have no more fires the last few years. Sorry to hear you don't get to enjoy campfires anymore. I see more spiders when we camp then ticks and mosquitoes lately.

I had a late start (mostly due to the time difference), but ready for all the fun now.
Here is My campfire inspired card .
JUN14VSNA Campfire Fun
I can't believe I had three campfire stamps to choose from - not to mention a different sheet of paper from my pad of DP which also featured a campfire.
I am loving all the cards that have been shared for my challenge so far. I am getting so excited for my camping trip next weekend and looking at all the challenge entries is getting me even more excited.
You can go in any direction with this challenge as you can see with some of the other entries. The campfire is just an inspiration starting point. So whatever you think of when you see a campfire works for me.

I did not realize until very late last night that VSN was upon us so I have only finished the Friday eve challenges so far and hope to be able to do the Saturday as well :-)
I'm so sorry that VSN is ending soon! It's been so much fun! Here's my last card.....I'm thinking that the best use of fire is my coffee - I like using the italian coffee pots that do best on real fire!
