My favorite vacation destination is going camping. My favorite camping activity is sitting by the campfire and especially roasting food on the fire. Yum!

My challenge for you is to make a stamped card/project that represents the warmth from a campfire.

You can use an actual image of a fire, use the colors of a fire (orange, yellow, brown), or some other representation of warmth or fire. Please let me know in your comments what you used to represent the warmth of a campfire. I can't wait to see your warm campfire creations.

Lela, you definitely have to have s'mores ingredients when camping. I make mine with peanut butter cups. Yum!

I really enjoyed this challenge. It used to be one of the things i loved about camping and also in our back woods we would always burn a fire...but...the wood ticks have gotten so bad and the mosquitoes and DH is paranoid about both of those and so, alas, we have no more fires the last few years. But it sure was fun to make this fiery rooster.

Sorry to hear you don't get to enjoy campfires anymore. I see more spiders when we camp then ticks and mosquitoes lately.

Great challenge! We camp and love to take "campfire walks"! It's fun to check out everyone's camp!

I depicted fire through color.

It's absolutely precious!! And since I know you'll never say anything....let me just let everyone else know that Katlyn designed that image herself! She is K&K designs and makes these ADORABLE digis!!!! :D

To really represent my experience roasting marshmallows, I should have colored them burnt or in fire. Some great cards in the gallery.

Great challenge! As a camper I had many stamp sets that would work for this challenge.

I can't wait until I have time to go back and look at all the other cards!

I can't believe I had three campfire stamps to choose from - not to mention a different sheet of paper from my pad of DP which also featured a campfire.

Melissa, thanks for the fun challenge! I created a card using the colors of a campfire! I do have one campfire image but I went in another direction!

I am loving all the cards that have been shared for my challenge so far. I am getting so excited for my camping trip next weekend and looking at all the challenge entries is getting me even more excited.

This was tricky for me...but I had fun!!

You can go in any direction with this challenge as you can see with some of the other entries. The campfire is just an inspiration starting point. So whatever you think of when you see a campfire works for me. :)

I did not realize until very late last night that VSN was upon us so I have only finished the Friday eve challenges so far and hope to be able to do the Saturday as well :-)

I'm so sorry that VSN is ending soon! It's been so much fun! Here's my last card.....I'm thinking that the best use of fire is my coffee - I like using the italian coffee pots that do best on real fire!
