Yaaay!! My two windows look at over our mountain property and my dh and FIL will be painting the room next weekend before we move in, so it'll be all purty for me!! Even though we worked so hard today, it was so peaceful and awesome!! Definitely it'll be worth it!!!
I sure hope your move went well........are you all settled in now?? And do you love your new location?

That IS wonderful. Yes, our move went well. We are getting settled in - it has been almost 2 months now since our 'goods' arrived. I have a nice stamping area upstairs in a nook at the top of the stairs - already here and waiting for me when I moved in. I utilize it QUITE well!!

Hey Mel - long time not hear from. As I understand it - Peggysue is out of town until wither tomorrow night or Thursday sometime and I think the big announcement will be coming Thursday night. But I don't know what time.

Somehow I never did read Where the Red Fern Grows . . .
Anyone read the Phantom Tollbooth? Raggedy Anne stories?
I wish Agatha Christie had written at least 100 more books. And that the Harry Potter series wouldn't have ended!
Hi everybody,
I'm a "bibliophile" (I think that's how you spell it...anyway, I'm a book lover!) and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Phantom Tollbooth! I read it when I was about 9 (which was, um, more than 30 years ago!) and actually did a presentation on it in a grad literacy class a couple years ago. Boy, the possibilities would be endless with that book!
I really hope to be able to "play" this time around!

Hey yourself....It's been a while since I've checked out the threads...I'm trying to find some sense of normalcy in my life....and I'm doing pretty good with it so far, but I have a lot of company in the evenings.

How are you?
So Mel - your company, would that be a special Friend??? Inquiring minds want to know!!
I am settling in - finally starting to feel some normalcy - and worthwhilenss myself!

I have to leave to go get dh from the train around 5:30 (1/2 an hour before the announcement in my time) - you would think they just might tell me?? Probably not!!

Oh, I know how busy you are, with just getting back and all.... I am sure that they would not mind waiting a week or so, giggle.

Agatha Christie is the devil! I was in Mousetrap in local theater and, seriously, it made no sense! Nothing added up at all. Drove me insane! Okay, rant over!

I really need to read some grown up books. The last grown up book I read was the series by Jean Auel, The Clan of the Cave bear ones.
Anyone have a good grown up book that they recommend? I don't like any of those make you think about life books, I am more of a fantasy reader...
I loved the Thursday Next books by Jasper Fforde. I haven't read the newest one, but the 1st 4 were great! All kinds of great book references. Kind of sci-fi for book lovers.

Since you're so busy...might as well tell us now!!!!!
I will be at Parent-Teacher Conferences when the announcement is made, so early is fine with me. Darn...I should have brought my laptop...then I could have checked. These 4th quarter conferences aren't usually very welll attended.
