MAY10VSNF ~ Saturday May 29 ~ 12:00 PM EST ~ April Showers Bring May Flowers
Title: April Showers Bring May Flowers
Hostess: Vannessa - saffivort
Keyword: MAY10VSNF
Day/Date: Saturday, May 29th
Time: 12:00 PM EST
Welcome back to another great round of VSN challenges. I hope you enjoyed participating in all the challenges yesterday - I know I certainly did!
The old proverb April showers bring May flowers is usually very true over here in the UK. We are usually inundated with tulips and daffodils especially in gardens and on road sides and they make everything just look so pretty and bright.
My challenge is a simple one: incorporate flowers into a project. It doesn't just have to be tulips and daffodils, any kind of flowers. They can be stamped, punched, rubbed-on, printed on DSP, made of felt, card, crocheted or any other type of flowers you can think of. Come on bring out those beautiful flowers!
1. ALL VSN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00 PM EST ON Monday May 31st.
2. You have 45 minutes to complete the challenge.
3. Please remember to put in the correct keyword, MAY10VSNF , when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure your creation is seen.
Hope your thunderstorms are not too bad. We've got rain forecasted all weekend and half into next week - while I'm on holiday too :( But at least that means I'll have to get my school work done, and hopefully find a bit of time for crafting!
Collage card! My fingers are nasty now. Off to scrub them before the next challenge! I already rolled some ribbon flowers this morning. Just in case I need them. That was fun too!

Hugs and smiles
This is simply stunning. I love it all - couldn't find just one thing I loved about it!
This is just stunning as well Faith. Your colouring is to die for - how on earth do you manage to do something that beautiful in only 28 mins? It would take me hours!
I've been using so many flowers during this VSN!!!! This time, I decided to keep it relatively simple and finally got around to making one of those huge paper clip bookmarks/clip things (hope I'm not being too technical!!) Here's my clip:

LOL in 10 minutes I might have managed to cut all my layers up after umming and ahhing for ages on sizes and colours and patterns etc. There's no way I could finish a card in 10 mins and have it look good, let alone beautiful.
I might have a try this week while I'm on holiday and see where I get up to after only 10 mins :P

We call her Speedy J...At the retreat I had to REALLY pull in the reins, on her and my SIL...They have a habit of rushing ahead and finishing a card before half the ladies get a 1/3 of the way through!LOL
Ummm, a little tired now - I was up at 7.30am to make sure I didn't get too far behind with last night's challenges (remembering of course, we're 14 hours ahead here) and, well, I haven't been to bed yet. I had some work to do today after last night's challengs and then I had to get cracking on getting some more cards done. So, now it's 2.40am and I'm thinking, I might hang around for the next challenge and then get some rest!!!!
I used to nickname my uploads or at least try to come up with slightly comical names and then I would confuse myself with what challenge I was uploading it for, so now I used dull old boring names. Might have to find a happy medium.

LOL I'm always one of those whose finish last at card classes and would definately miss it all if I was with Speedy J!

Aww bless you for staying up for my challenge! Hope you're not too tired tomorrow though.
OK here's mine. The rest of the challenges I have to so in real time. Better get moving. I hope you ladies that live on the other side of the world are able to get some sleep.
