Title:
Hostess: Jennifer Buck
Keyword: MAY09VSNMINIKIDS
Date: April 25th
Time: Open for the kiddies...they need something to do while y'all are in the stamping casino! ;)
So what's a kid to do while their mom is stamping the day away? Color!
If you were to bring them with you to Vegas then you would need to bring LOTS of coloring books for them to stay busy. So this challenge is to make a card and use an image that needs to be colored in. No other restrictions apply. ;)
UPLOADING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. ALL VSN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00 PM EDT ON MONDAY, April 27M
2. There is no time limit for kids challenges.
3. Please remember to put in the correct keyword MAY09VSNMINIKIDS when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in the chat thread just in case the gallery is being testy.
He's not too young! I say stamp something on white paper, let him 'color' it, then trim and make a card...it's like Mommy-n-me papercrafting! Daniel loves it when we do this ;)
Brady is too young, can I make the card or is that a no no?
Anything for you, Girly! I think it would be cute if he helped though! How fun is that! ;) I'm going to have the boys make one as soon as we get home from the game...I will stamp the image for Hayden and we will see how it goes from there.... ;)
I'll TRY to have him help. Sigh...I don't know about him using my markers though. I tried to get him to help me once before but he just scribble on the image with a pencil and then got up and left. I'll be back tonight. I sent to him Grammy's so I could enjoy VSN.

I goofed once and let Raven choose her own colors and then it was so hard to pick out coordinating layers and embellishments. Now, I just pick out colors for her and limit them to 3 or 4 that I know I can work with.
here is my daughter's card: Sofia's mermaid
my 6-year old picked and colored the image(she loves Bellas), picked the papers and embelishments, did the glue-ing and layering. Only thing I helped her with was the cutting.
And she wanted me to make a picture of her with the cards - so here it is: Sofia and her card
Thanks for giving the kids something just for them!
Funny how the mind works, though. Ellie chose to glue down her white square before stamping and coloring her image. Her last step was to stamp the sentiment. Wow-she got it straight!

Right peeps, there is no time limit for this kids challenge and of course the grown ups can play, too, I mean, who doesnt like to color??
So Jimmi said us grown ups can play, too. My girls are grown and didn't want to color with me (believe me, I asked!) So I just colored it myself. Here is my card.
Here is my minikids card: Fairies by xx ginger xx at Splitcoaststampers
My granddaughters don't live close to me so it isn't colored yet because I won't see them until June :-(
It's also my Bellie Up card...multi tasking as usual!!
TFL!
