Challenge Title: Refrain from color Hostess: UnderstandBlue (Lydia) Keyword: MAR18VSNN Date: Sat, 8pm ET
You know I can't make it easy for you, right? Since this is a challenge about the most colorful part of our lives, I will be flipping that upside down. Your cards must feature plants or flowers that you have not ADDED any color to. You can stamp the flowers, and leave the color in the background, as seen in one sample, or you can embellish plants or leaves on patterned paper, but only with black or white, as shown in my green sample. So put down those markers and watercolors, and think outside the color box! Awesome challenge Lydia. It took me a minute to figure out what I was going to do but it turned out great once it was done. Thanks for the fun challenge.

Here's my first card...it came together pretty quickly as I already had the BG and circle die cut....all I had to do was find some coloured cardstock that would make it pop. I don't usually use green but thought it appropriate with flowers.

Here's another card I've just put together. I had the BG already and wasn't sure whether to use it for this challenge or Misti's but I have another idea for Misti's...LOL.

I wasn't sure where to go with this, till I remembered that I had a piece stamped ready to use for crayon resist. It had a little smudge on it - adding colour to the background and leaving the flowers white dealt with that problem and I love how this came out. Thank you!! Darn, now I think I should have stuck with crayon resist for next week's TLC. I didn't like my first attempt at all.

Not coloring was tough! Hope I read it right..I didn't color but I did embellish a little w/ a white pencil. Here's my Easter Egg Greetings. Thanks so much for looking.
