THERE IS STILL ONE MORE CHALLENGE TO COME . . . STAY TUNED FOR ONE AT 11:30 pm!!! THANKS!!!
Hello, if you have made it this far GOOD JOB!
Only two more and this one is not too hard, but lots of people have never tried it. So, what are you waiting for . . . dont tucker out already, its stamping time . . .
Your Challenge is to MAKE A SHAKER CARD. HOW? You ask? Well, here are some links for directions on how to make one, and there is more than one way. Also, I am attaching a couple of pictures of ones I have made as an example of both of the kinds I have seen.
Please remember to label your upload AUGVSNH and HAVE FUN!!!
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask . . . Oh, and I used a bigger font above cause it is late and I know your eyes are bugging out now . . .
Oh Amanda! I know I said earlier today that I'd still be here at this time, and that's the truth...I am here! But I don't have the strength to try something I've never done before! Just got done with the floating card on the last challenge, and I'm ready to burn my acetate sheets! Sorry....no can do on this one! I will definetely try a shaker card sometime, though!
YAY TASHERS IS RIGHT!!! ALSO, if you have any leftover rubber from cutting out stamps, you can peel the rubber off, and then use monoadhesive on that side, and the other side is already sticky, that works too!!!
I've always loved shaker cards ever since I learned how to do them. Hadn't done a circular one though until recently. Am eager to see what is done tonight.
Thanks for all the fun tonight! It's been great seeing what others have come up with to meet the various challenges. Keep up the great work everyone...it's a pleasure to view.
okay, the floating card I've never done before, and even after a few Cosmopolitans, it turned out okay... I've done a few shakers before... guess I should give it a go, eh? What's one more drink at this point, right?! Er, uh, I mean, what's one more card.. not drink.. card..... at this point... ;)

This is my first ever shaker card. The photo really bleaches out the colors in the card. The card is gable green, but it looks almost white in the photo. Sorry. I guess my flash is extra strong. Will definitely try this technique again. Thanks, Amanda, for getting me to try something new.
This has to be the card of mine that I'm most pleased with tonight. I've had these little buttons forever, and I'm glad I thought of them -- I think they add the perfect touch!
Time to go to bed. I'm doing weird things, like making St. Patrick's Day cards in August. Challenge "E" made me want to use more of my non-SU stamps and I had green beads, so there you go:
This has been a fun time. Here is my "Big Fishy" shaker card. At least it will be after the "pending approval" square goes away. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
