Default Strip Pieced Quilt

I wanted to share the steps I used to make this cards:

First I stamped three different colors with BG stamps, took 2 sheets of solid color and cut all in 1 cm strips. (You could use scrap strips too) Applied tape runner to the full length of each strip and stuck them to a sheet of computer paper.

Next I cut the strips in the other direction to get the small squares. I applied tape runner to these strips and applied these to a computer paper, being sure to offset each row. I trimmed to extra on right side and added it to the hole on the left side, so I ended up with a whole 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of this.

I even used a punch on some! I used CrystalEffects on vellum. It helps to hold the edge pieces.

That is absolutely adorable! I love this idea! I have a friend who is really into machine quilting and I can't wait to make her a card like this. Thanks for sharing!
