starburst or rays?

Does anyone know of a tutorial for making a starburst card? Like the sizes of pieces and how to get the right cut for them? Maybe called rays or sun rays?

I think an easier way to do the sunburst is: just cut rectangles 1 1/2 inches by 4 inches and then cut them in half diagonally. Glue in desired pattern to a base card and then trim excess. I just uploaded the cards I did for my technique class:
