I haven't done this, however I do use Bazzill a lot on my cards. I buy Bazzill at the scrapbook store (Scrapbooks Etc in Mesa, AZ, the wife owns the scrapbook store and the husband owns Bazzill) and they do not put a color tag on the paper so I really never know what color it is. I used to work in a different scrap store and can tell quite a few colors, but not all of them.
This is the ONLY thing I don't like about the Bazzill papers. I buy them in packs of 5 related colors and although there is a name for the pack (set of 5 colors) there is no name for the individual colors.
Shannon - I think that is where I shopped last spring - got some amazing deals on the packs of paper (right, no colors on the label) and I certainly would like to go back next winter.
Dorothy: If you come back this winter...let me know. I love that store and frequent it a lot!! As well as some of the other local stores. I seem to frequent Etc more though.
I did a comparison of the Matchmaker cardstock to SU but I don't have many of the Bazzill colors. Does anyone know of somone doing a sampler? Since TAC sells them I'm sure someone has put one together.

Hi Joyce ~ I know that someone posted on the Webeangel they had some Bazzill Sampler (2x3) that she was selling for $5, Im not sure if she still has some available. Ill send you a pm with her contact info. ;)
Hi girls, I've been checking out the replies to my request. Thanks to all of you for posting a response!
The BB CS I can get in the UK is colour named, so that isn't a problem - now I just need to wait for some lovely person to read this who has a match to the SU CS!

Sorry, I missed out on the Bazzill sampler that Jovi was talking about. If someone will do a sampler, I'd be happy to do the comparison!
I have tried to match some of it, with NO LUCK. They just don't seem to match at all. I tried Chocolate Chip, Taken with Teal, Pumpkin, Rust in Jan. Nothing even close.
Is BB paper heavy? It is on sale really cheap at AC Moore, but it's all packaged up. I'm spoiled with SU's cardstock and like heavy paper. What's it like? It's used often in "Papercrafts," so I thought it must be good?

According to this thread, SU! cardstock weight is 80 lb....I *believe* Bazzill's is also 80 lb (they both feel heavy to me!). However, Bazzill's cardstock is textured (on one side); they have some really cool textures! Some stampers prefer to stamp on smooth paper (like SU!). FYI...Bazzill did just come out with Smoothies, a line of cardstock which is smooth and designed for stampers.
I love to use Bazzill for matting and as the actual card base. It is top quality paper (and no white core). I love it and love most of their colours...there are sooooOOOoooooOOOoo many!!! Sorry I can't help with the matching of SU to Bazzill.
I use Bazzill Cardstock for all of my cards. Because it is 80# weight and does work well with layers. Yes it does have some texture to it..but if I'm not stamping on it...this doesn't matter to me.
Since I am a Demo for TAC and this is one of the Cardstocks we sell. I used it!
We also sell Match Maker Cardstock. But don't use it as much.
Yeah, I'm sitting here with a Bazzill Swatchbook with the Canvas texture, and my SU colors and there's really no comparing them. There are a few that are a shade darker/a shade lighter, but nothing exact from what I've seen so far.
That was another question I had. How many Bazzill swatchbooks are there? I thought I would just get one and check for color matches myself, but there seem to be multiple swatch books. Is there one with ALL Bazzill? If not which ones do I need to cover ALL Bazzill? Thanks

A quick search at Joanns.com (where I got my canvas swatch book) shows that there are four, and then a 2006 supplement with the colors that were added in 2006.
I was matching up some of the SU colors to my Bazzill swatches.
My swatch pad is for the CANVAS textured Bazzill cardstock, my preffered texture.
Here is what I found... These colors match up almost perfectly, some closer than others.
Pretty in Pink = Baby Pink
Blush blossom = Adobe
More mustard = Cheddar
Basic Black = Raven
Whisper White = Bazzill White
Mellow moss = celery
Old Olive = Hillary
Gable Green = Limeaid
Close to cocoa = mocha
Chocolate Chip = Chocolate
Night of navy = Admiral
Brocade Blue = Jacaranda
Bordering blue = windy
Lovely lilac = Grape
Elegant eggplant = magenta
Pale plum = rosebud
Perfect plum = jubilee
Lavendar lace = Heather
Bashful blue = Baby blue
Ruby red = Watermelon
So saffron = sherbert
Handsome hunter = jade
Garden green = Leapfrog
Unfortunately, it seemed that the canvas texture didnt match up with very many of our SU Bold Bright colors. There are hundreds of Bazzill colors/textures that I dont have swatches of.
Hope this helps!
I compiled a list from several sources here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers of colors that match. Please keep me posted of other matches you know of. Nan
