If this is a case of not yet owning a machine, I would opt for the machine the dies were designed to be used with. In this case, the Wizard is the logical choice since Spellbinders designed both the machine and the dies and they will definitely fit. Plus, you are going to get the best results when these two are used in combination.
I have the wizard and simply love it. It is a much more stable machine, my nesties cut and emboss beautifully, the quality of the machine is out of this world. I have never heard of anyone breaking a plate in a wizard, but I do know this can be a problem in a cuttlebug if you make your sandwich too thick. I like that the Wizard comes with everything I need to emboss the nesties. If you buy a cuttlebug you need to buy the tan embossing mat in order to emboss in your cuttlebug. Also be careful if you get a cuttlebug, I have heard many say that their nesties get stuck in the top plate and it is very hard to get out. I have not had that with my wizard, they cut into the top plate but they pop right out.
Like I said though, I only own a wizard so I am biased about it. I can tell you though that a I get a much deeper impession with my wizard when I emboss a cuttlebug folder, then I do when I have a cuttlebug embossed cuttlebug folder. I had a friend give me some and I compared both.

All Nestabilities work with the Wizard, they were designed to work together and both are manufactured by Spellbinders Paper Arts.
Lisa is correct, there is a big difference in the crispness and depth of Cuddlebug folders when put through the Wizard simply because of the pressure the Wizard exerts.
I actually ran some of Tim Holtz grungeboard through the Wizard with a Cuddlebug folder at a recent show, even Tim was impressed!
the other option for it is ucutathome.com
she has a 40 percent off the retail price, NOT her price (there is a difference), but she will let you use it on the wizard machine.
I personally got mine from Marco's but that is just because it was cheaper there and I could use my ucut coupon for a set of nesties for a better price.

I think it has come down in price because Spellbinders introduced a motorized version of the Wizard at CHA called Excalibur. Don't have any idea what the price of that machine is.
I have been reading the threads with great interest as I have been looking for a die-cutting machine to use both the nestabilities and cuttlebug embossing folders. I think I have made up my mind to get the Wizard machine as I am looking for a crisp image. To use this machine do I need to buy any adapters to be able to use the cuttlebug Embossing folders? Really appreciate if someone could advise me. Thanks, Nikki x
Nikki, all you need is the Wizard right out of the box to be able to emboss the Cuttlebug embossing folders. If you want to emboss thicker items like Fiskar's texture plates or replicate charms you would need the charm embossing kit.
I have the CB and was all set to bite the bullet and get the Wizard, simply because it seemed easier to use the Nestabilities with the companion machine, kwim? But since CHA and the announcement of the Excalibur, I'm not sure whether to wait and spring for that one since I have issues with arm strength.
