Why are the oozak.com prices still 3.95 for sketch markers?
I thought these went up? I'm pretty sure I paid 4.25 per marker on Feb 1...what gives, is there a sale? Is that why they're all sold out too? Anyone know when they will restock the sketch markers at oozak?

Oozak constantly has markers on order. His prices are so low that they sell out really quick. Their website says they are expecting more next week, and the prices go up to the "standard" tonight at midnight.

On the front page it says you have to order before 10pm EST tonight.
I didn't buy any anywhere until 2009, but I thought the price had gone up at the first of the year...was it not in effect until tonight though?

Those are two separated events. On January 1st the price of the markers went up, and most sites adjusted their pricing. Then, some major distributors like oozak and carpe diem were selling their markers below the minimun price allowed by the distributor due to a loophole in the reseller agreement. The distributor noticed this loophole, and decided to enforce a strict MAP (Minimun Advertised Price) for their resellers, and for that Oozak, and Carpe Dime are no longer able to sell their markers cheaper than anyone else, or they will loose their reseller position. That new MAP policy will be in effect on march 1st (tonight).
So whoever took advantage of it were lucky (like me)...
Well they're still 3.95 at carpe diem...I'm gonna stop trying to figure it out now

They will go up tonight - so this is the last day for 3.95 each plus free shipping for an order of Sketch Markers over 50.00 at Carpe Diem. Hurry if you want to add a few to your collection!
One reason they can sell their makers for less money. Is because they purchase a large quanity of them. So therefore they aren't spending that much money to begin with.
I just went to Carpe, and there is a banner at the top of the home page that says something about "deals", but it ends on march 8th, maybe the prices will go up then??
