I haven't used it but I think the Ice Stickles is bigger glitter.....more like the other glitter glues you see around.

Yes, I think you are right. I have been doing a lot of reading about the 2 products and that is what the girls are saying. In addition, rumor has it the ice stickles don't write as fine, as the tip needs to be larger to accommodate the bigger glitter particles.

I ended up getting the regular stickles ordered yesterday! I am so excited to get them in my hot hands!! (Not telling how many I ordered, either!! )

I think that's pretty much a rule around here.....never count anything!! That way we don't have to admit we have a problem!

I ordered 4 bottles from e-bay and including shipping it came to:
$8.66
Is that a good deal? I didnt bother checking with my LSS and Michaels and JoAnn in my area didnt have them.

Can anyone tell me what their favorite colors are? Which ones do I need?
I NEED these things. (its what I tell my DH) ;)

Yep, that's a good deal. They usually run around $2.25 or so in a LSS. I bought some at StampFest for $2.00 a bottle -- so you're right in the ballpark! Michaels doesn't carry them at all. Joann carried a 3-pack (actually two different 3-packs, one of metallics and one of pastels), but that's it.

My favorite colors are: Black Diamond (goes great on ladybugs), Waterfall, and Frosted Lace.

Barbie 50:

Some other people recommended Stardust, Diamond and Yellow (for the inside of flowers). I purchased all of those colors...and then some! UGH! ;)

Where did you find that killer deal to include the shipping (specifically was it a store on the Bay or an auction you won?). I went to scrapbookpal.com and got them for 1.75 each, but they do have a flat shipping charge of 5.75 if you spend $25...which I always do anyway!!!

And yes, you do NEED a crop a dile!!!!!! I use my eyelets all the time now! :-D

E-bay store: Susie's Altered World and the seller e-bay name is: keenas46xd

The price was right and they combine shipping. You dont have to wait for an auction, its a buy it now price.

I want my crop a dile!!!!! I need to find another coupon!!!

I use Diamond the most, it goes with everything. Crystal and Icicle are similar with a different hue. Black is a must and orange or yellow for candle flames and fire. I use red alot during the holidays for berries.........I could go on and on.....

Ranger makes the stickles, and if you go to their website, they give a reasonably good pic and info as to colours of stickles - specifically the differences in the colourless ones - like diamond, lace, crystal etc etc. I use crystal the most - it has a bit of greeny blue hue maybe ? mixed in with the plain sparkle. I haven't tried the ice stickles, but according to Rangers website, yes , they are bigger. I will buy some eventually....

Thank goodness I found this thread! I have been wondering what on earth stickles were for such a long time!! I figured it was something sparkly, but perhaps something unique to the USA (I'm an Aussie) and would I find them where I live?! Turns out that what you call stickles, we have a product called Kindyglitz which seems to be similar (although not as many colours).....
