what other machines out there can do embossing besides cuttle bug
are there any other macines besides the cuddlebug that emboss.

It's someone who buys stamps they didn't normally like at first,only to see it in Split Coast Stampers gallery in a different perspective.
The Big Shot, the Wizard and the new Big Kick by Sizzix. These all have the ability to emboss if used with a kit. The Cuttlebug needs one, too. The Wizard Charm kit or the Big Impressions Starter Kit or BISK for short. I am sure that the Big Kick has a version just like the BISK for the Sizzix. I understand that the BISK and the Wizard or WCK will both work in the Cuttlebug. Hope this answers

I use my Sizzix for embossing using the CB embossing folders and also brass stencils. Don't think I need a CB as 1) I don't do all that much with die cuts and 2) Don't have room for another machine and unless it's set up an accessible, it won't get used much anyway and 3) Know that someday soon something bigger and better will come along so I'm just waiting because in spite of 1 and 2 I know I want one !! It's infectious, this little bug is. !!

I'm really new to my Sizzix (YIKES! yes I said Sizzix) anyway, I've only had it a couple of months, never thought that I would need one and then decided before Christmas that I had to have one. But these cards that I'm seeing done with the Cuttlebug embossing folders are awesome and I want to be able to do that too. I see from the above posts that I can using my "old" red Sizzix, but since I'm new to it, I'm not sure what all I need in order to use the Cuttlebug embossing folders. So, can someone please help? What do I need and can I use the A2 embossing folders? Thanks, JULIA...
If you get the convertor, a large magnetic metal bar, you can use the CB embossing folders. There is a card in my gallery that I made using my old Sizzix. Old being at least 3 years old. They work wonderfully in the Sizzix. I also have the Sidekick and I can use the 2X2 CB embossing folders in it. They will also work in the Sizzix machine.
The Cuttlebug Embossing Folders work great in my Zipemate.
What is the "sandwich" sequence for using the Cuttlebug embossing folders in the Zip e Mate? Also, my Zip e Mate doesn't grip the counter well and slides. I usually use Lasting Impressions stencils. It's difficult cranking my embossing "sandwiches" through it. Any hints?
