Top Note Die vs. Two Star punches

If you could buy only one, which do you think I'd use more and be more versatile? I've seen gobs of samples in the gallery but am on a fence. Maybe there are star punches made by someone else that would be cheaper. Anyone know? TIA.

I vote for the top note too! I did find the star punches at joann's. Can't remember the brand right now (I am at work). They are the exact same size. I bought them when they were on sale.

How about the Nesties label dies by Spellbinders- looks pretty similiar to the top note but you get several sizes to choose from.They also have a star dies in several sizes too. That seems like a better value to me than just one or 2 punches.

I've read of lots of ladies here on SCS that say they have used the Top Note in their Bug with great results. I don't have a bug myself though.

I think it looks exactly the same as the top note!

A friend of mine has it and she likes it, but is only around 4"x4" so it isn't as big as the top note.

I don't have the top note, but I've heard the Top Note is about 5.5x6. So it would be larger than the QuicKutz 4x4 die.

I vote for the top note, however my nice and generous dogs got me a set of star nesites for Christmas that I love also and most likey used just as much. The Star nesties are very cool also.
