I just saw that Tonic's Tangerine is back in stock. It's been over 2 years since they had it available for sale. No idea when, exactly, it came back, but I wanted to pass it on, in case it helps anyone who's been eyeing it. <3

Here's the Tangerine's page link. It's listed at $229.99, plus $20 shipping. Which isn't actually that bad, for such a heavy beast of a thing. And everything's the same price as it was back in 2022.

Looks like the plates are back in stock, as well. And they have half-size plates available, which they didn't have before; that's pretty cool!

I'm a tiny bit sad that I waited over 2 years for Tonic to get their act together, and I barely missed out by a few months. I just got a 9" Bira adjustable machine back in February (which I love). Sigh. Still, though. She would've been nice to have. Sure is pretty with that swirly bit on the bottom.

That's good news. I have the Tangerine and 100% love it. The plates last incredibly long and even though I have a set of extra plates, I may pop over to their site and order another. Thanks for the heads up!

I keep telling myself that if the Bira breaks (it was only $140 including shipping; kinda scared it won't last as long, just based on price alone), I can try again for a Tangerine. *fingers crossed* I really hope they have it in stock if my Bira dies; the Tangerine was my first choice. In case anyone would like one of these amazing machines, they're currently on sale for $160 (normally $230). I only got a 10% discount when I bought mine last year, but I've been so thrilled with it, that it doesn't sting quite as much as I thought it would, to see it for such a good deal. I've really appreciated having it for the past year. (I used to think, "Why in the world would someone have duplicate machines?" But I can totally understand the temptation to get another one now, lol, especially at such a nice price.)

I haven't had mine for very long, and the plates are still going strong, but I picked up some extra plates today, since I have no idea how often they discount the machine and accessories. Tonic offers half-sized plates, but I'm gonna have my husband cut one full set in half for me.
