Has anyone used this in their cuttlebug. According to their site ,the bug is not one that is recommended. I was going to purchase one, but not if I cant use it. Thanks for any input on this.
Since the die is made by Sizzix, I am pretty sure the site only reccomends their machines, but it all the Tim Holtz dies work great with the Cuttlebug using the two B plates. I have cut paper, fabric, grungeboard, chipboard, tissuepaper, metal - alot of materials with no problems.

OOOKay so now that I want to buy it locally, everyone seems to be out of it....go figure.I am in Mesa Arizona for another week, so I shall have to keep looking or wait until I get home .
I use all the die cuts in my cuttlebug. You just have to do some experimenting with the sandwich...once you get it...write it down! (the voice of experience LOL)

Yep, and then remember where you wrote it down. Some of my sandwiches are kept with my plates.Unless you use them all regularly you tend to forget.Maybe its an age thing. nah
I order my sizzix dies on line from sizzixcom. There is a Tues Teaser sale each Tues. There are holiday sales about the time of most holidays, etc.
My Micheal's store updates their dies once every 5 years or so it feels like that. Don't say any thing to a Michaels worker about how long their dies hang on the walls and how Michael never gets new dies . I said something to my husband's cousin who works at a different Michaels. Did she jump down my throat. Apparently it is wrong of me to expect the new dies to be put on a Micheals' shelf every couple of months and not years later. So I buy on line form the sizzix company.
My JoAnn's is so small, they have hardly anything.
I've been buying my Tim Holtz/Sizzix dies from joann.com lately. They've been having 40% off die cut stuff sales over the last couple months and I've found free shipping coupons for each order. Most of the TH dies come to $11.99 after the discount. My collection is pretty big now.
W ell let me tell you that Mikes is about the same in my city in Canada , BUT its sure has a lot more than what my local Mikes here in Mesa has. Since I arrived in January they have not had one new thing related to rubber stamping in. I was told there was to be a big switchout on March 9......snooze still waiting. I think they are hoping their two year old stamps ( in some cases because I bought then) are still sitting there will sell after being reduced for 2 months...uh uh
Joannes has quite a good selection here but never the ones I want, they seem to have the older Nesties and have not had new once again since my arrival.I have to take a run up to HL in the event they have some new ones... on second thought will save myself a nearly 30 minute drive each way and phone ahead.I think its too late to order on-line as we leave in a week.
I am planning to go to the Rubber Stamp Expo in St. Paul Minnesota in May so I just might hold off until then.
I should mention that I could get the above mentioned die at home, but I can buy it here for $20 as opposed to $35 at my local scrapbook store. Now if I can get it at HL or joannes I can use my 40 or 50% off coupon so that is an additonal big savings.Paying $ 12 or 15 versus $35 works for me..when I can get it.
I LOVE SCS!!! I've been really curious if Tim Holtz dies would work in the Cuttlebug. The bug is something else I love. It folds up. It's light-weight. It's reasonably priced. Anyway, thanks to you guys, I now know the "sandwich" I need. This site is worthy of being my home page, love it.
FYI - this die (and all other dies and machines) are on sale at JoAnns.com - 30 percent off. And today only (Wedn 4/4), shipping is FREE - no minimum order.
It works fine in the Cuttlebug..All those size work on the regular size plates..If you get the long dies, you will need to invest in the long plates to get them to work easier (yes, you can do half and do the other half with the short plates, but one pass with the long ones is easier for me...).
Ellen Hutson also has a great selection : Ellen Hutson | Home. Plus she has very reasonable shipping and is very prompt. (Can you tell I shop her regularly?)
Sorry I didn't link to the die section. Not on computer.
