Smile Tag punches

So, just throwing another question out there to all you experts... ;)

I just bought a bunch of the SU tag stamps on eBay but, of course, I didn't win the coordinating punches. Anyone know if any of the punches from other companies "fit" the stamps the same or is it worth the investment to get the SU ones?

Thanks again for your input!! It's always appreciated.

P.S. Random poll... Where's the strangest place you've found glitter the day after a card making/scrapbooking session?

It is worth it to purchase the SU! punches. They fit the stamps exactly and they layer perfectly. HTH!

I agree - it's not even worth wasting your time trying to find similar punches in stores. The SU! ones are perfect for those stamps!

I sort of remember reading somewhere when they first came out w/the SU! tag punch that they were exclusive sizes for SU!. I love love love my tag punches. I do have Sizzix tag dies and some on my Cricut cartridges but I find it so much easier to just grab the tag punches and go vs. getting up to go to the die cut area across from me, set up the machine etc. Don't get me wrong - I love my die cut machines but for just a tag, I like the punches better.

I'd get the SU punches. It's not like circles or squares where only the size matters. You need the right heigth, width and angles for the corners to match up with your stamps.

Remember when you punch tags --- stamp them first and them turn the punch over so you can see the stamped image before you punch. This way you get a perfect tag every time.

As for strange places to find glitter. Not a pleasant answer, but I found glitter in my ostomy bag.
