Thumbs up Sun Light Desk Lamp

I wanted to let everyone know about the light I got this week at Sam's Club. It is called the Sun Light Desk Lamp. It has natural full spectrum lighting (simulates daylight inside). It reminds me of the OTT Light that I have wanted to buy. Anyway, the best part is it was $19 and change! Can't beat that! Now I can see what I am working on!

I bought one at Sam's a couple of months ago and absolutely love it! Can't believe what a difference it makes.

Thanks for the info-I've been wanting/needing one of these lamps for so long but they are so $$$. I'm going to put a shout out to my friends to see if any have a Sam's Club card so I can get one too! This will be sooo helpful. I really dread Daylight Savings time.

I just bought the last one my Costco had today, I was bummed because I wanted to buy one for myself and my Mom, too! I guess I will give this one to her as she thinks she has seasonal affective disorder and this should help her! I am glad to know it is like the OTT, thanks!

I'm totally clueless on these kinds of lights so this may sound like a dumb question. Do they give off heat like a regular bulb does? Right now I have a desk lamp that seems to get to hot and I end up using the light from the fixture on the ceiling.

I don't have one of these, but I have something that costs less than that.

I buy regular style full-spectrum bulbs from the health food store called "NeoLite" bulbs. They cost $8 each and fit in any light fixture that takes incandescent bulbs. You can buy them even cheaper online if you buy a larger quantity, such as at this site:

http://fullspectrumsolutions.com

However, one bulb lasts a long time...the one I've got in my swing arm lamp over my stamping table is around 3 years old and still going strong! It says it will last 5000 hours and they are defintely long lasting!
