I'm trying to find something to organize my Tombow/Le Plume/CTMH markers, something that can easily sit on my workspace. Anyone know of a rack, or something along that line that will keep them nice and neat, and organized by color? I probably have about 60 of them. Thanks!
I use the cases that they have for EK Success markers--like the ones if you buy the set of 48? They have them (or used to) separately, and they will work with most markers. I would find someplace that has them and then check with them if those particular markers will fit in. Works great for me.

I am incredibly lazy when it comes to my markers. I have each set in a different glass. I use a wider glass for the sharpies. (I also keep my paint brushes in glasses and open jars.)

I have this case and while it fits my SU markers nicely, the CTMH and Tombow markers are too tall. When you find a solution, would you let me know? I'm in need of a good storage case, too!

I took the hard plastic pen holder out of the soft plastic (snap-shut) case, and use them separately--so the length of the pen doesn't matter.
You can see them on top of my Michael's cubes:

I keep mine in X Cubes by Eldon from Office Max, Staples, or your local office supply store. I think I may need another one soon, these are more crowded than they are in this photo.
I have an old "Tool Turn about" from Pampered chef that I was going to use for my markers and paint brushes but then I heard that I should be storing my markers laying down. Is this true? I only have stampin' up markers right now no expensive copics or anything.
If your markers/pens have only 1 tip, then you can use the PC tool turn about - but - put them in point down. This keeps the ink toward the point. Problem with this that you can't see the color of the pen/marker. For those that have dual tips you should absolutely store them on their sides - otherwise one of the tips will start to dry out.

Wow, I like that idea. I may have to get that! Thanks for the tip!
I love the X-cubes too. I use my markers more now that they ae sitting right on my desk. (Out of sight out of mind).
Thanks I think I'll have a look for these at our local Stationary store. I will still have to keep mine on a high shelf out of reach of my kids but i'm sure i'll use them more than I am now. They are still in the package that they came in.

Thanks so much for this suggestion. I purchased a couple of these cubes today and they are a super way to store all my SU and Copic markers. Thanks so solving my problem!

I use the exact same system! I got the idea in a scrapbook organization magazine and have loved it ever since. I found my cubes at Office Depot, they were about $6.99 each, I also have 4. There are 4 sections to each cube, I put a different color in each section so all of my reds are together, blues are together and so on. What I like about this is they are stored horizontally which is what everyone says is best and I can easily identify which brand of marker it is by the cap.

I use a holder called a Pen Caddy from Crop In Style - and I bought it on-line at an Ontario scrap store. It stands on your desk or folds up to carry with you.
Here is a link to my blog post if you want to see it, with my markers in there - it holds Tombow and LePlume and my Sakura pens as well. http://parisestates.blogspot.com/200...log-treat.html
Just another suggestion!

I buy empty zig pen cases from scrapinsanity.com. I have 3 not including my SU! marker set. I have all my markers sorted by mfg.
For longer pens I used my button shank remover (use protective eyewear) and cut the backs off one of the cases. Then I put all the little shelves back in their cardboard sleeve but I didn't push it all the way back. This left room for the pens to hang out the back and not fall out. Works great for me as when I travel I don't take the entire case.
