Default Stampin Up Banner punch

Hello Does anyone know if the SU Banner Punch from Sale-a-Bration leaves an outline around the stamped image? I had always thought that all SU punches did that until I got the Jewelry Tag punch :( I do love the outline and am curious to know on this one. Thanks in advance!!

I don't have this punch, but there was a thread about it on the techniques forum the other day: Help! SU Banner punch and stamps by Snc914 at Splitcoaststampers

From the sound of it, this one does not leave the white border

Definitely no border on this one.

Actually, the coordinating set has banners a little bit bigger than the punch (except for the dotted outline image), so there will be no border left.

And on the dotted outline one, there is a space around the dotted image.

It's funny because one of my customers complained about the lack of white outline. She got the punch but not the set.

Thanks everyone! I do love the borders, I think that knowing this I will not try for the punch afterall. I hope I can do even borders by hand, I am horrible at cutting by hand. At least they are all straight lines!!! Thanks again!

I love the fact there's no white outline and I love the punch with matching set so much I want to put them on everything! Unfortunately the last few times my DD 2yo takes the card to make her own. She does love to take over my tiny craft area!

That is what I ran in to with the jewelry tag punch, the punch is just a hair smaller than (I think) it should be to make a nice cut.

I'm getting both this month and figure I can easily cut the stamped images by hand if I want a border, punch them if I don't. I often cut the Bitty Banners images by hand too, when I'm too lazy to drag out the Bigshot.

I got it free so I don't mind no borders. SAB was the pits for me so I just got the banner punch and stamp set and two packs of the sweet sorbet paper.
