Default Sprung loaded scissors /snips ?

Hi , does anyone know of any snips or scissors that are suitable for people with dexterity problems please? I have arthritis in my hands and am finding it difficult to use ordinary ones. By the way I am in the UK , so we are very limited with shops.
Many thanks
T

Have you tried the ones from Friskars that are like micro tip ones? they do not have holes in the handles for the fingers to go through they are more like levers and fit in the palm of your hand?

I have these Fiskars scissors and they are very easy to use. They are sharp and do not need a lot of pressure. I use them for gift wrapping at Christmas. It never occurred to me to use them for card making! Hope this helps!

Does anyone have a specific Fiskars (or other company) link to share, preferably of an item you have actually used? Fiskars makes to many items and it's hard to sort them out online.

Mine are similar to these, below. Since I’ve had them for more than 15 years they are not the pretty color offered today! I am quite happy with them along with all my other Fiskars products (paper trimmers, gardening tools, etc.).

I got the fiskars this year for house plant trimming. It has a kind of blunt point though when sometimes we want a real sharp/needle point for fussy cutting...so I like the one posted above better. But the action is good. For price comparison, I see that one for about USD$11. But that might be another way to source them-plant trimmer as the UK is flower central to me Or stationary stores. Or quilting stores...

Peeking around over there...
Buddly crafts has the Holtz ones but they are pricey
Oddly I don't see any at Hobby Craft and neither does Crafters companion. huh.

Ok here we go-they are on Amazon UK. If you ask for spring loaded scissors you see a bunch. They are only showing me ones that will ship to the US so you may see more than I am.

They also look like they are on Ebay UK.

I have the Tim Holtz snips and they work very nicely even though I have small hands. (The spring action would open them even further for someone with larger hands.) They have a very fine sharp point if that is a concern.

I've had to switch from scissors to a (quilting) rotary cutter and ruler for most of my cutting. It's easier for me than trying to use scissors. It's may not be appropriate for all the cuts needed, but It's amazing how accurately and quickly I can finish projects with less pain, and more enjoyment.

I recently started using Uniquely Creative's fussy cutting scissors as I have significant arthritis and weakness in my right hand. I was using Fiskars scissors that have a spring but the trouble was that my hand would get very tired & very sore super-quickly. The Uniquely Creative scissors have been a game changer for me. They are very lightweight too. Even though this is an Australian company, they have stockists in the UK.
