Default Spritzer tool

Is the Spritzer tool something worth getting? Do you use it a whole lot? I am just curious because I am buying the marker set and wanted to know if it is worth the buy. Would appreciate any and all input.
Thanks!
Crystal

I don't own it, I just used my demos at a workshop and it does give a cool look to the background of whatever you are making, IF you like that look. (I do but it probably isn't for everyone.)

Thank you...I will look in the gallery closely and see what I can find with that look.

Anyone else have advice on this tool?

You have to check out Jeanne S's gallery - she LOVES the spritzer tool.

My favorite Jeanne card

I don't have one, but I hope this helps!

I don't have the tool but I use a tooth brush to simulate the same look. I just ink the toothbrush with a reinker and flick it onto my paper. here is an example:

My friend and I both have it and it doesn't work. I use the toothbrush method too. It was a big waste of money.

Thank you all so much. Jeanne's cards are so neat. Carol Lee, your gallery is fabulous!! I never thought of the toothbrush giving the same type of spritzer look. I hate to pay the money for something and then never to use it. I know I can always trade it or something it is just the initially let down when you buy something and it does not work the way you think it is going to. I am glad to hear that many have had success and really like. Decisions, decisions....don't ya just love them? LOL

Ladies, thank you agian...you have helped me out greatly!

me too! I like the price of DH's (kidding) toothbrush and use the $$ for something else, like the reinkers.

Thank you! Aren't you nice.
The toothbrush method works great. Definately give it a try before you buy the spritzer thingy.

You just put some ink on your toothbrush and hold it towards the paper and run your finger over it to splatter the ink onto the cardstock. Works great. Took me a couple times to get the hang of it but not long. You might want to wear a rubber glove while you do it to keep your finger from getting messy.

I used a nail and pulled it toward me, which makes the bristles fly foward towards the paper. Not quite so much on my fingers then.

Well, I think I am going to order some reinkers then. I need them anyway and would be a double duty type thing. Thank you all! You all have been a great help!
