Default Solid chipboard - where can I find it?

My friend is publishing her first doggy cookbook, and is looking for solid chipboard to use as the backing. She has looked everywhere, and all she can find is the chipboard already cut into shapes. Does anyone have an idea where she can look for this?

TIA!!!

I know Stampin' Up! sells it. I'm not sure who else.

I forgot to mention, she needs it to be 9 x 12 at least to cover the 8.5 x 11 pages of the book. This makes it a bit harder to find.

If you are near a Hobby Lobby, they sell chipboard in packs. I think the size is 9 x 12, too.

Look in the art supplies department. I've purchased it there.

I just bought a big sheet from an art supply place. I think it was 18x24, and it was .59.

Default Searching for chipboard

I have wondered the same thing. I planned to try some small local printers, as they use chipboard to back pads of forms, memo sheets, and scratch pads. Please let us all know where you find it!

Thanks everyone!! I've found it at Barnes and Noble (that surprised me), Createforless.com and a store on Ebay.

If she's looking for it in bulk, she should check out Uline. They sell it in 12x12 sheets (in varying weights) by the case (brings the per piece cost down to about 8 cents per sheet, with shipping factored in, it's about 13 cents per sheet).
