Default Slice and Sookwang

Hey all,

I have just upgraded to the new Slice Elite, and I saw a technique in CK magazine where you apply double sided tape to cardstock and THEN use your slice to cut a shape. I tried it and the results didn't turn out that great. It's possible the shape I was trying to cut out was too intricate, but I wondered if anyone else had tried this technique with success.

I was using an SU cardstock and Sookwang double sided tape. Just wondering if there are any tips or tricks I can try to improve the success of my attempts

I use a Grafix Double-tack Mounting Film. I actually bought it from Two Peas, I think, and I was amazed it's not a stock item in the usual online shops that are the Member Companies here. It's a godsend for affixing intricate die-cuts to cards.

HOWEVER, my only experience is with the Cuttlebug, so I can't guarantee the product will work the same on your equipment.

Good Luck
