Default Sizzix Embossing, is there another way?

hello everyone!
I went to a card making class at Archiver's this weekend. I saw the cute new Sizzix texture boutique, in other words, the little handbag. They demonstrated how to emboss using it. I loved the embossing but was wondering if there was another tool out there that would emboss bigger pieces of paper? Does anyone know of another embossing machine?
Thanks!
Brenda

Sure there is. There's the BigShot and BigKick (both by Sizzix) there's the Wizard (by Spellbinders) and the Epic Six (by QuicKutz). They all do the same thing, it's just a personal choice on which one you like best.

Are there any machines that will take 12x12 paper?

The Sizzix Big Shot Pro machine will take 12x12 paper. It's due out this month and the MSRP is $349. Prices online seem to run between $275 and $349, some with free shipping.

The Creatopia by Xyron will also take 12x12 paper.

Oops! I forgot about the Cuttlebug (by ProvoCraft).

I wouldn't have anywhere to put a machine that does 12x12, let alone afford one. I'm quite happy with my BigShot. I don't have to worry about getting the ratchet going or my project shooting across the room (Wizard). I don't have to worry about what type of work surface that I have so that my machine will suction to the table (Cuttlebug). I haven't tried the other two (BigKick or Epic Six) so I have no opinions on those.
