I am thinking of getting a subscription to scrapbooks etc magazine. Does anyone get this and is it any good? 8 issues for 25 dollars...I don't want to get it if I won't like what is in it. Now i'm more into stamping cards and not into scrapbooking...so if it is more scrapbooking as the name says then it might not be for me
I would suggest picking up a copy at the store. It is a scrapbooking magazine, so I doubt you will like it. I would suggest Papercrafts magazine instead. It is for card makers.

IMHO it is one of the better scrap book mags, and sometimes has cardmaking things in it too. BUT, if you can, get a copy with a coupon to see if you like it.
I am a recovering magazine junkie but now this is the ONLY one I buy. I like everything about it -- the writing style and topics, the ideas and samples, the ads. Definitely geared toward scrappers.

I like it but I would definitely look for a better offer than that! You should be able to find one...sometimes they even mail you offers...again, I like it, but not enough to pay $25 for only 8 issues...
When I signed up, I'm pretty sure if was an offer of two years for $12 - they mailed the offer to me out of the blue...
This is the only magazine that I currently subscribe to - let all others go. I pick up a few others now & then. I love the SKETCHES in each issue - meant for scrapbooks but easily adapted for cards.

I decided against it because I did look at one and it was more on scrapbooking(which I don't do right now). I was only getting it for that price because it was a fundraiser for my husbands daughter. I decided I would probably enjoy Martha Stewart's mag better...Thanks everyone...I will keep it in mind if and when I get into Scrapbooking
I Scrap and Stamp, and have a subscription to Paper Crafts. LOVE IT!
Scrapbooks, etc is a favorite scrap magazine of mine, because the pages are "doable". I also like Simple Scrapbooks. I usually buy these with my 40% coupon, so I can look to see if the layouts are usable for my needs.
