From the Provocraft website:
Q: Does the Cuttlebug Machine have a warranty?
A: Yes it does. The warranty can be found in the User’s Manual. The warranty states, “Provo Craft will repair or replace this product within one year of purchase if there is a manufacturer’s defect. Return this product within one year of purchase to the retailer from which it was sold with receipt and packaging for exchange. This warranty is expressly limited to manufacturer’s defects and does not include any damage or defect caused in any manner after your purchase. This warranty excludes professional or commercial use.”
Q: What material will my Cuttlebug cut?
A: There are many different materials you can cut using your Cuttlebug. We
have tried the following cork, thin metal, thin wood, thin fabrics, thin felt, cardstock, Bazzill, poster board, chipboard, and fun foam just to name a few. The rule of thumb is to not cut anything that is thicker than the white foam on the Cuttlebug die. The Cuttlebug User's Manual states, "The height of your cutting materials should not exceed 1/8". Attempting to cut through materials that exceed this height may result in incomplete cuts and may negate the warranty.
Q: How do I use my brass embossing templates in the Cuttlebug?
A: We have had many requests about how to use brass embossing templates in the Cuttlebug machine. We have tested at great length how we can do this. Some websites suggests using a mouse pad or a foam pad between the mats, but unfortunately while testing these kinds of materials they have stripped the gears. Using material like these in the Cuttlebug machine will void your warranty. We will continue to test material here at Provo Craft and let you know what can be used. We would rather have our testing machines break trying out different materials, and have your machine stay in top condition.
Hope that helps!
