Default Problem with 12" platform for Revolution

I recently purchased a Revolution for nesties. I decided to got the 12" platform as well, but there lies my problem. I used the instructions to take off the 4" platform. The instructions then tell me to slide the 12" one through the guide. Guess what? It will not move when I turn the handle. What did I do wrong? Was the new platform supposed to have a track on it like the 4" on did?

Thanks in advance for your help.

The 12"platform uses pressure to go through, not the gears. Nothing is broken. Put your die, paper and cutting mat on, push your platform until it won't go and turn the handle.

Here is a video to explain it.

It is really easy to use once you get the hang of it. I leave it in all the time and no longer use my 4" one.

I discovered it, quite by accident, when I got frustrated and tried to push it thru. It's good to know that if I hadn't, I would find my answer here. Thanks.
