Default Is this possible...if so, what product would you use?

Hi!
Well, I cut some scalloped shaped stars out of chipboard with my BS..wow. how slick that turned out! Then I covered the chipboard with a nice CS, in that same cut out shape.

Now...I have cut a photo and placed this in the middle of my chipboard shape. I figure I can have this be either a tree ornament or a fridge magnet. Here' my question....I would like to seal the photo to the CS chipboard shape and am wondering if there's a product that will do this nicely, without messing up my CS or the photo...I have the following and would any of these work?

1. Ranger Glossy Accents
2. Mod Podge, gloss
3. Mod Podge, matte
4. Kryon spray clear gloss
5. SU Crystal effects

I'm really hoping one of these will work, as it's nice to be able to use what I currently have and not have to buy yet another crafting item! Yet, if you feel none of these will cover my photo without messing it up, please suggest what will.

Thanks tons, as I think these could make cute gifts! At least I'm hoping....

They all should work but really depends on your photo, it might smear, run or bubble up, I'd do a test run first. Glossy accents and Crystal Effects will both give you a raised glossy look, modge podge will not be raised, it'll be more flat. So that also depends on the look you want, flat and matte or raised and glossy?

I have used Modge Podge matte before without problems. Haven't tried the others.

I agree that they would all work but I'd go for the Modge Podge...

It will depend also on how the photo was printed. If it was printed on an inkjet printer some of those items will smear the print. Also depending on the color paper/cardstock, the color will get blotchy.

As with anything, it's just best to try for yourself. What works for one person may not work for another.

I made coasters like this last year... i used modge podge matte and made sure my photos were absolutely dry and printed on cardstock so the ink would soak in the paper and not on top like most photo paper
