Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could use to organize all of my embelisments (eyelets, brads, buttons, ect)? I'm thinking that it needs to be something easy to pack and carry for when I go to scrapbook/card make at a different location, so nothing to big. Right now I use the watchmaker tins and its not cutting it, its not enough room and they dont stay closed. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them.
My Dh bought me a drawer set at Lowes that was designed for screws, they come in many sizes and have different size drawers in them, although it is not portable
SU has a new Stack and Store. It holds 24 containers or 48 mini containers. It is housed on a turn table and has a carrying handle. It's on page 193 of the Fall/Winter collection catalog. Go to www.stampinup.com and check it out. I love mine.

I got something at W*Mart in the bead section quite some time ago that I really like. There is a large plastic box with individual "tic tac" like containers in them. I keep one type of brad, eyelet, etc in each box. I like this method because there is no chance of spilling every item in the box (like those bead boxes) or getting them mixed together. It was fairly inepensive too. Here is a picture of what it looks like.

Thats very similar to what I have...but the compartments on mine look just a bit bigger...got them at Hobby Lobby for .99 or either 1.99

That is what I have and I love it...then you only have to bring what you need....they stay closed...and it fitslittle turn mounts....little hinges...brads...eyelets...even shaped ones!
I have an embelishment organizer from Cropper Hopper. One side opens up and has TONS of compartments. Each compartment can hold 3 mini boxes to put eyelets, buttons or other small items in. The compartments are also perfect for holding fiber cards for ribbon or threads. The other side of the box has a large flat area. I keep a spool or two of ribbon and my eyelet setter, pliers and such in there. Mine is clear on both sides, but here is a link to the purple one. http://www.cropperhopper.com/index.a...ROD&ProdID=123

I am the queen of thrift! I checked in the craft section of Wal-Mart and found the bead organizers...and realized that it looked just like a fishing lure/tackle box. Sure enough, I went to the sporting good section and bought the exact same product (just a 'manly label) for several dollars less. Also, they make them in lots of different sizes! Also...they have some that you can stack several that perfectly fit into a canvas tote. Presto! Portable embellishments!
