Default OMG OveRWhElmed!!!! INK, INK, INK???

so i thought that by reading more post it would help but now i seem to be more confused... just starting out with scrapbooking/stamping card making...so here is what i would like to do...
1. scrapbook with some stamping/embossing
2. card making with some stamping/embossing and maybe coloring in

so...what kind of black ink should i get if i want to color in...and if i color in what do i color in with...

what kind of black or clear embossing ink to emboss

after reading i think the detailed embossing powder is what i will get (learned from other post ;) )

only near by craft stores are about 45 miles from here..HL and M's...so any help would be appreciated...tks

I found StampTV.com from Cardmaker Magazine and Gina K has dozens of great videos. Thanks to this website I use Momento "Tuxedo Black" for all kinds of coloring. Alcohols inks etc. And all the other colors are great too. And the Distress inks are a must have. Just go slow and look for sales or coupons. I gave my daughter a bunch of ink pads I bought and found out I didn"t really need.

Check out post #3 on this thread: The best ink by thelittlebirchtree at Splitcoaststampers which I posted earlier tonight. There might be some answers to your questions there.
