Default Response from EK Success re: MS Scoring board

I e-mailed the company about the envelope template for the scoring board and envelopes not turning out the stated size. I assumed it was me since I am directionally challenged, but began seeing posts on this board saying that others were having the same problem. Anyway, this is the response I got...

Thanks for contacting us and for purchasing our scoring board! Please accept our apologies for any problem with the envelope size. I will certainly forward this observation to our product development department to make them aware of it. If theres any information on upcoming corrections, Ill gladly let you know.

Thanks again & have a terrific day!

BabyNurse.....Is this a product that is manufactured in the UK as the Enveloper is? If that's the case, then it's based on European measurements which are not the same as what we use here in the US. If that's so, then it's not likely to change.

Or is it a case that they give specific ruler measurements and the actual outcome is not as stated?

It's an Imperial based envelope maker so it's based on US measurements. And the outcome is not accurate as far as standard envelope sizes: most are larger than standard and in one case the top/bottom flaps exceed the height of the envelope.

Valerie.....Thanks for the response. Very Interesting! I am not familiar with the product, since I don't purchase Martha Stuart products.
