Could someone help me to find an email address that I could inquire about a new handle for my cuttlebug. I looked at the Provocraft site and could'nt find any email address . I broke my handle last night!
I hope you get as great of a response as I got - I got my bug at HL (the last one they had) and when I got it home the little allen wrench and the screw that holds the handle on were missing. I called the 1-800 number and without a question they sent (within a couple of days) a whole new handle unit (so now I have a backup handle.
Please let me know how they respond as the same thing happened to me- just the outside plastic part, but I still have the skinny handle and can use it.
I called the 1-800 number and it is on it's way. What a pleasant person on the other end of the line. She couldn't have been more accomodating. Thanks everyone.
I went to use my CB last night and the handle came off. The screw is still there, but it won't hold the handle on. I was happy to see the 800# to call for a replacement. It seems they need to work on this problem. I haven't used my CB a lot and already it needs tweaking!

Good to know, cuz the bug is biting me and I so don't quite understand how it works - have read the FAQ but it assumes I already own one so - do you insert paper, like a printer, and turn the handle to emboss a page? Somewhere I read it will do 2 pages at a time?? Do you have to buy the embossing plates (is this what they call a folder?) seperately? I have asked these questions before but can't find the thread so just asking again.

Yes, you do buy the embossing "folders", separate, usually @ any craft store. They also sell dies to die cut. If you buy a cuttlebug, it should have everything you need in the box except the embossing folders, and dies. The clear and white "plates" that are labeled with letters come with the actual machine. Okay, this is how you do it:
You open the "folder" and put your paper inside and close the top of the "folder". Place the "folder' between the 2 clear (labeled letterB) plates, then place that on top of the thick white plate ( I think that may be labeled letter C, I forget) Then you feed the whole stack into the machine and start to turn the handle as the stack moves through the machine and comes out the other end. Then, take out your paper and WHA LAH !!!! I'm don't know about using 2 pieces of paper at a time, never tried it. Does this make sense, and answer all your questions. I tend to ramble, and then don't explain things well. Happy Cuttlebugging!!!!!!
