I just did a gallery search for movers and shapers - there were lots of great ideas. There may also be some threads in the demo forum if you are an SU demo (click on join a user group).

I know this is an older thread but I just had to share a fantastic project that Mary Brown has done. It is just awesome! I never would have thought about running one of those little tins through the machine like that!

Wow! I love the heart punched into the lid. I'm off the see if the little SU tins will work. I have a ton of them.

I love the heart tin! I have never actually paid attention to what the movers and shapers did and didn't have it on my list...I had a "duh" moment when I saw the tin with the heart cut out...now it's on my list and i too am anxious to see some other projects with them. Let me know if the SU tins work or not! TFS!

I know! I never would have thought to use it with one of the tins! I'm thinking that the SU tin would be too big. These little tins that Mary have a detachable lid. I will definitely be on the lookout for some cute little tins at the dollar store! The possibilities for this are HUGE!

Yup, the SU tins are too big for the depression in the platform AND the lid is attached. I'm going to work on a few alternatives. I often use small shape dies without the M&S platform, so there's some wiggle room there.

ETA I just checked and the lids to the SU tins can be taken off pretty easily. They're not crimped on or anything, so it can be done without ruining the tin.

There's a thin piece of metal that needs to be slid/pushed back out of its groove. (It'll stay in the lid if you don't pull it all the way out.) The front & back pieces of the box will then come apart.

Send the lid through the BS/BK using just the M&S shape die (no platform). Fiddle with sandwiches* until you find one that works.

Put the lid on the bottom and slide the thin piece of metal back into place.

* Here's the sandwich I use in my Big Kick:
Sizzix Texturz Impression Pad from the Texturz Kit (the hard plate, not the silicone rubber)
Sizzix Cutting Pad
M&S die face up
cardstock to be cut
Sizzix Cutting Pad

Since it's the tin lid and not cardstock being sent through, the sandwich may have to be altered.
