nervous about the price, but I bought myself one for Christmas (DH doesn't do gifts). I used it to make multiple cards for my "adopted" nursing home and it worked GREAT!

The cleaner can be purchased at The Container Store for $3.99. This is great if there is a store near you. Not sure about shipping costs if you order from their website.

I don't have a local source for the Novus Plastic cleaner...but looking at the description online it can be used on cars to clean headlights and such.....My question is...Walmart has a plastic cleaner in the automotive department used to detail cars...Are they interchangeable???

It should be. This is from Iliana's FAQ page:

To maintain MISTI, please use a plastic cleaner such as Novus 1 Plastic Clean and Shine. DO NOT use window cleaner. The ammonia in the window cleaner will fog the Plexiglas on MISTI. This is the only cleaner I recommend.

I bought two bottles of the Novus cleaner, when I bought my MISTI. Although I have used my MISTI every week, I haven't had to clean it. I must not be making a big enough mess with the ink!!LOL
