Default Michael's cricut special-should I?????

I have been on the fence about getting one and this seems like a good deal. I have a cuttlebug. Would this be duplicating/?????

Personally I have a Cuttlebug and that's enough for me. I just can't justify the cost of the Cricut with how much I would use it.

Plus the cartridges are around $50 a piece, right?

Just my opinion!

The Cricut does a lot of different die cuts and goes from 1-5 1/2" in size. I have both and LOVE them both. The Cricut doesn't emboss though which is a great reason to have the Cuttlebug.

I started out with the Cuttlebug and SWORE I did not need a Cricut. I held off for quite a while, which is NOT like me. Well, last month I bought the Cricut. It is honestly is my favorite crafting tool. I still use my bug for embossing, but the Cricut is what I use for letters and shapes. I LOVE IT!
I had to make 75 Grad invites earlier this year. I had to cut out 75-two's, 150-zero's, and 75-seven's. I did that all with my cuttlebug. It took me DAYS!!! If I had the cricut it would have been tons faster!!!!
If it is a good deal, I would NOT pass it up! You will love it!!!

Well, it IS a great deal. Provided, of course, you aren't thinking about the bigger, newer model, the Expression. I hear you can get those really cheap on the 'bay, a little over $300 or so. There's not much sense getting the smaller version just cuz it's on sale, if you really want something different, kwim?

I have the Cuttlebug and all I really care about using it for is the embossing. If you look at having to purchase all the dies to cut objects out, the Cricut cartridges are probably a better deal, lol, plus they can do them in several sizes.

I think I've done more harm than good here, lol...so, like I said at first, if it's something you want, then it is a very good deal.

Default What is it??

I don't get the M's flyer. What is their special? My mom said she was getting me one for my bday, so we are keeping our eyes open for a good deal.

TIA
Amy

Personally I don't care for my Cricut. It's just not for me....not yet anyway. I bought it in a rush because of the clearance sale on the smaller model. I have used it once just to try it and haven't bothered since. Stupid thing is I still went out and bought 3 more cartridges. I will have to either just force myself to use it enough to love it or just sell it. It does feel like a waste of money for me.
